Search Console
See the clicks each article earns on Google, spot articles that are losing ground, and know when to refresh them.
Connect Google Search Console and Quibo shows, for every published article, how it is doing on Google: clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position over the last 28 days. It is the same data you would read in Search Console, matched to your articles so you never have to look up URLs by hand.
What it shows
- On each site page: the connected property, the Google account, when it was connected, the last sync time and the top 10 pages by clicks over the last 28 days.
- On each article: the Search performance card with the 28-day totals, a small chart of daily clicks, the date Google first showed the article, and a "Losing ground" note when the article is decaying. The card also stays on the archived original after a content refresh.
- On the articles board: a "Refresh suggested" badge on articles that are losing ground, and the 28-day click count on live articles.
Only articles that Quibo published and that carry a live URL are matched. Pages that are not Quibo articles still count toward the site's top pages.
How to connect
- Open the site in Sites and find the Google Search Console card.
- Click Connect Google Search Console. You need to be an owner or admin.
- Sign in with the Google account that has access to the site's Search Console property and approve read-only access.
- You are sent back to the site page. The last 90 days are imported in the background and numbers appear within a few minutes.
Quibo asks for two things only: read access to Search Console and your email address, which is shown on the card so you know which account is connected. The refresh token is encrypted at rest and never leaves the server.
Which property is picked
Search Console has two kinds of properties. Quibo picks one automatically:
- A domain property (
sc-domain:example.com) that covers the site's host, including subdomains. This is preferred because it captures every protocol and subdomain. - Otherwise, a URL-prefix property (
https://www.example.com/) that is a prefix of the site URL. The longest match wins.
If nothing matches, the connection is saved anyway and the card shows a picker with the properties the Google account can see. Pick the right one and click Use this property, or verify the site in Search Console first and then connect again.
Data lag and syncing
Google finalises a day's numbers two to three days late, so the most recent days are always a little behind. Quibo syncs every connected site nightly at 04:00 UTC and re-reads the last week each time, so provisional numbers get corrected on their own.
Sync now on the site card pulls fresh numbers on demand, once per hour per site. Owners and admins can use it.
How decay is detected
After every sync Quibo compares each published article's last 28 days with the 28 days before. An article is flagged as losing ground when either of these holds:
- it had at least 20 clicks in the earlier period and clicks dropped by 30 percent or more, or
- it had at least 100 impressions in the earlier period and its average position got worse by 3 or more.
The flag clears on its own once neither condition holds. Flagged articles show "Refresh suggested" on the board and "Losing ground" on the article page. They are the natural candidates for a content refresh.
The review nudge for lifetime customers
If you bought Quibo on AppSumo, the first time one of your articles collects impressions on Google the organization owner receives one email pointing to that article and asking for a review on the deal page. It is sent once per organization and never to subscribers.
Which plans include it
Search Console is included from the Starter plan and from lifetime tier 2 upward. On plans without it the site card explains what the integration does and links to the plans page. If a plan is downgraded, existing connections stay in place but syncing pauses until the plan includes the feature again.
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the site card removes the connection and the stored token. The numbers already imported stay on your articles until the next connection overwrites them. You can also revoke Quibo's access from your Google account settings at any time; the next sync will then report an error until you reconnect.
