Upgrade or downgrade
Change plans without losing data.
Upgrade
- Settings → Billing.
- Click Upgrade to on the card you want.
- Paddle checkout opens. Complete payment.
- You're redirected back. Quotas have already been applied via the webhook.
Downgrade
- Settings → Billing → Manage subscription.
- In the Paddle customer portal, change the plan or cancel.
- The change takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Until then, you keep your higher quotas.
- After the cycle ends, the webhook applies the new (lower) plan.
Mid-cycle upgrade behavior
When you upgrade mid-cycle, Paddle pro-rates the difference and we reset usage counters. You get the new quota in full, immediately.
If your upgrade crosses the Standard → Express delivery boundary (Starter → Plus / Pro / Business), the new delivery mode applies to new batches only. Any batch already in flight keeps its original mode — delivery mode is frozen on the batch at trigger time so a mid-run upgrade can't switch the pipeline halfway through. The very next batch you trigger will run on the new (faster) mode.
Mid-cycle downgrade behavior
We don't drop you to the lower quota in the middle of a cycle. You keep your current quota until cycle end, then the new (lower) quota applies.
If your downgrade crosses the Express → Standard boundary (Plus → Starter), in-flight Express batches finish as Express. New batches after the cycle ends will run on Standard delivery.
What happens to your data
Nothing changes — articles, keywords, sites stay. Only the quotas change. If your new plan has fewer sites than you currently have connected, no site is removed; you just can't add more until you delete some or upgrade.
